Our thoughts are with those students and families going through Hurricane Gustav.

College Lifestyles (TM) would like to send out thoughts of those going through the devastation of Hurricane Gustav. We've experienced the kind thoughts and actions of others (graciously providing items for shelters, Facebook groups formed of sorority members and families to stay in touch during the storm) We encourage all who can to provide one item to a shelter - something as simple as toothpaste, toilet paper, and peanut butter would be wonderful. This hits home to College Lifestyles (TM). The director of College Lifestyles (TM) was born and raised in the town of Houma, LA - directly in the path of Gustav. 'Giving anything - time or an item, would be greatly appreciated. Since my dad and brother are still in Houma, so something as simple as a kind word or thought there way is greatly appreciated.'

Our thoughts and prayers are with all at this time.

Body Image - From the Words of Stacy London

From the words of What Not to Wear's Stacy London, 'Know Yourself. Accept your body for what it is.'

The director of College Lifestyles (TM) (Shelly Marie) translation: 'When you learn your size and dress for your size, you will not only look inc edible, but feel incredible. I am all of 5'1". I have learned what shortens my look, but also what can elongate my look. I encourage all to find what works best for them, it could be a color and/or a great outfit. Start to ask your friends, 'which color works best on me?'
