I’m writing a term paper and hungry – Help!
Want a quick, healthy snack when writing a term paper? Reach for a healthy bar (nothing to prepare and no mess!). My favorite – Kashi Pumpkin Spice Flax! It’s crunchy and taste great! And the bonus – the fiber will keep your blood sugars stable to prevent the ‘blood sugar drop!'
Happy Paper Writing!

Exam Day Breakfast?
Our first blog focused on ‘brain foods.’ Right now, your focus is on studying and papers - spending hours studying, pulling an all nighter, or (if you were like me) go to sleep at 8pm, wake up at 2 am and study!
Whatever is your ‘preferred’ method of studying – don’t take your morning exam on empty!
1. Stock your refrigerator with Dannon Light-n-Fit Shakes (TIP – Pick the blueberry flavor – blueberries have been found to improve brain health!). Grab while running to class.
2. If driving through fast food, select a McDonald’s Fruit-n-Yogurt Parfait, Subway Honey Mustard Ham & Egg Roll, or McDonald’s Egg Muffin. All 3 contain sources of lean protein. (Other breakfast sandwiches have over 30 grams of fat!)

It's Time for Finals! Make an A+ with these 'brain' foods....
For many, Spring Semester is coming to a close. Before enjoying the summer, finals and papers are knocking down your door!
How can we remember everything that we are studying when writing 10 papers, making note cards, and packing up our dorm room or apartment?
Have an apple! That's right, an apple - red or green. It doesn't matter! A 2005 study showed that apples/apple products can protect one from damage that leads to memory loss!
